Tsavo West National Park is located in southeastern Kenya and a little southeast of the sister Tsavo East National Park. The national park encompasses an area of 3,500 square miles (9,065 sq km) making it smaller than its sister park. Tsavo West has its own diverse and abundant wildlife, the rhino reserve, Mzima Springs, a solid network of roads, and the potential for rock climbing and guided walks. Tsavo West National Park is more mountainous and more diverse in its landscape. For some, it has more of the “African” feel when it comes to a safari and wildlife endeavor. Climbers like tackled the cliffs within the park as elephants graze the grasslands around the area. Kichwa Tembo is one of the most popular rock faces to climb with an elevation rise of 984 feet (300 m). The Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) are all accounted for within Tsavo West

Itineraries
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo National Parks
Time : 7:00 am
Transfer from Nairobi to Tsavo West
We will pick you in the morning hours from the Airport/Hotel and transfer you by road to either Tsavo West depending on the location of the Lodge/Camp. The journey takes about 4-5 hours. Arrive for your sumptuous lunch and check-in at the Lodge/Camp. Afternoon at leisure. Head for afternoon game drive in search of the various animals that inhabit the vast parks. The Mzima Springs is a unique feature at Tsavo West that is inhabited by aquatic animals. Afterwards, you will return to the Lodge/Camp for your Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo West National Park
Enjoy full day at Tsavo West
After early morning breakfast, head for full day game viewing safari in the vast parks with packed lunch boxes. you will make a brief picnic lunch. Proceed with the afternoon game viewing activity. Return in the evening to the Lodge/Camp for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: Tsavo West to Nairobi
Time : 8:00 am
Transfer from Tsavo West back to Nairobi
Enjoy your early morning breakfast and check-out of the Lodge/Camp and depart the Park with enroute game drive. Stop along the way for lunch * Payment direct. Arrive back in Nairobi in the late afternoon and transfer to the Airport/Hotel.
